They even do a choir chorus after the solo just like the one Moore does after the third verse! I also feel like the lyrics are well thought out and extremely deep. Txus has been writing about being above or below of a rainbow or maybe riding it so often that the metaphor has lost its sense. Carlitos’s solos deliver tons of feeling.

Mago de Oz’s latest album is highly enjoyable. Seriously… Some of the other songs are failed hard rock tunes attempting to be power metal songs. Javi’s keyboard playing is brutal and I mean it in a good way! But the uninspired songwriting is only one of the reasons this album is so bad. The bass guitar is amazing as well. ilussiia

The wind instruments, such as the bagpipe in “Cadaveria,” are very well done too. Best viewed without Internet Explorer, in x resolution or higher. It has plenty of ilussi rock, and even a power metal track or two – things that Mago de Oz hadn’t played in a while.

Right off the bat, it is very noticeable that the violin can hardly be heard at all in this album, which is a little bit disappointing, considering that Mohamed, the band’s violinist, is highly talented and has been with the band since the early s. His Morphwiz yes, the iPad app solo in “Pensatorium” made me say “Damn!
I think that Patricia does not get as much attention as she should: Now, the male vocalist, on the other hand, feels to me like he is afraid to show off what he can do. Bands alphabetical country genre Labels alphabetical country Reviews R. Carlitos’s solos deliver tons of feeling.

Rain DuranApril 24th, From beginning to end, it will surprise many people, since it is an album far from some of what Mago de Oz has done in the past. VforValmontApril 24th, Written based on this version: Then you got two really wtf songs: They even do a choir chorus after the solo just like the one Moore does after the third verse! For a self-called metal band, its sound is awful: This new singer still hasn’t convinced me.
I also feel like the lyrics are well thought out and extremely deep. For example, the track “Si Supieras,” a beautiful ballad, and one of the album’s finest songs, has NO violin part in it whatsoever.

Overall, this is a good album and I can say that I am amazed. Write your own review.
His voice sounds good, I’ll admit it, but with nowhere near as much feeling and passion as the band’s former vocalist, Jose, was able to do it.
The drums are, in my opinion, a bit generic, but I can live with it. At times, Javi does a great job of staying under the radar and not being too noticeable, but when it’s time to belt out an awesome keyboard solo, he’s not afraid to do it! Yes, the song still sounds good, but I would have liked to at least hear a simple violin melody in it.
Frank’s rhythm guitar playing does not disappoint one bit, either. But I think the problem goes deeper: Everything else in the album can be listed somewhere between failed rock songs and pure trash.
