Since the JSch plugin does not provide any extension point and the way the JSch code is structured it seems like there is no other way then to add the code into the same classloader, so I wanted to add the authentication variant using com.jcraft.jsch jar fragment for the JSch plugin.
Eclipse shows me no warnings or syntax errors. I think it should work alright when you get the plugin from Orbit CVS. But “import with linked source” should work.

When I tried that I got the problem that after adding the fragment the classes from the JSch plugin could not com.jcraft.jsch jar found anymore only those of the fragment could be found.

Note that “import with source folders” is likely wrong because you cannot recompile JSch anyways. I’ve downloaded the com.kcraft.jsch Now that I deleted the copy of the imported plugin in my workspace it works.

I imported the plugin into the workspace for being able to attach the source to debug through it. If it fails when importing with source from the target platform, we might just have to set up the source bundle slightly different in order to get the same result as when you’re on CVS. When I wrote the bug report I had a look into the new manifest file in CVS and since the bundle class path also did not include the com.jcraft.jsch jar file I assumed com.jcraft.jsch jar the problem also exists with the new version, not knowing that I’m looking at the wrong manifest file anyway Then I changed my mind and wanted to start with a fragment from the beginning.
